Ukraine is a sovereign state which is situated in Northeastern part of Europe. Ukraine is second largest country in Europe, with an area of 603,700 sq.km ; a coastline of 2,782 KM and a population of 45.70 million. Kyiv (Kiev) is the capital of Ukraine with 24 territorial divisions. Languages spoken around the country are Ukrainian, English , Russian and German. The neighboring countries are: Russia, Belarus, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova and Poland. To the South country is washed by the Black Sea and the Azov Sea. Sea borders are shared by Bulgaria , Turkey and Georgia. The Ukrainian landscape consists of mostly fertile plains and plateaus, crossed by rivers named as the Dnieper (Dnipro), Seversky Donets, Dniester and Southern Buh. They flow from north to south into the Black Sea and the Azov Sea. The country have two mountains ranges. The Carpathians in the west, with the highest peak being the Hoverla mountain at 2,061 mts.(6,760 ft), and on the Crimean peninsula, in the extreme south along the coast. This country is very cheap for travel and tourism. Many beautiful cities such as Odessa, kyiv, Simferopol, Crimea (Black Sea), Kharkov, Ivano-Frankivsk , Lvov, are well known as for tourist spots.
Ukraine has temperate continental climate in the mainland with Mediterranean climate on the coastal belt. Winters vary from cool along the Black sea to cold farther inland. Average annual temperatures range from 5.5–7 ºC (42–45 ºF) in the north, to 11–13 ºC (52–55.4 ºF) in the south.
Progressive Youth Association (PYA) is a young group of enthusiastic people and experienced educational consultants who have been engaged in guiding students and parents in seeking admission in various reputed universities (colleges) in Ukraine. PYA is an educational foundation proposing education in Ukraine, which is highly advanced and respectable all over the world, and well affordable. It is authorized by Ukrainian universities to propagate and promote their education faculties in India and other countries and to act as guiding force to prospective students. All universities promoted by PYA are Government Universities controlled by the Ministry of Public Health of Ukraine.
